Rush Limbaugh and Darryn Kagan: DC Power Coupling ... Eeeew
Apparently, froggy voiced War Criminal Henry Kissinger was right, power really is the ultimate aphrodisiac, at least in DC, as Rush Limbaugh and Darryn Kagan are dating. Eeeeew.
"Grody to the max."
WRVA's Jimmy Barrett writes:
"Several publications have reported and our 'sources' confirm that conservative icon Rush Limbaugh and CNN anchor Darryn Kagan are DATING! Could have knocked me over with a feather... Darryn is a long-legged liberal feminist brunette who is 12 years younger than el rushbo. Given that he has just broken up with wife number 3, we thought we'd try to lend a hand to help prevent future dating disasters for our favorite fellow talk show host. After all, what could Rush and Darryn have in common other than being in the media?"
Maybe it was the cigars that turned Kagan on, as Limbaugh notes in an extra-sleazy interview with Cigar Afficionado:
"'Often you just bring out a cigar, and it's an immediate hysterical reaction, even before you light up. But when I light up a Romeo y Julieta Churchill, it seems to be the cigar that women like. They don't object to it at all.''
But I wonder how feminist Kagan can justify the relationship; Kagan, the woman who wrote this for her Stanford ('85) alumni magazine:
"Welcome to the reality of being a woman in sports: In a room of 100 men, you are going to stand out. It means that you better be good; people are watching--and some are just waiting for you to make a mistake.
"As a female TV sportscaster, I come to you midway through a revolution. We are past the days when you never saw a woman reporting sports on television or when women weren't allowed in locker rooms. But there still is a long way to go.
"Take where I work. Of 18 sports anchors with CNN and our new 24-hour sports network, CNNSI, only three are women. And this is a progressive place to work. When CNN hired me two years ago, many staffers looked apprehensively at the one female sports anchor already working in the department. Was she going to be fired? She wasn't. It turns out the network was ready to have two of us. Funny thing, no one worried about any of the male anchors when a new man was hired a few months later."
How can Kagan justify this Limbaugh quote, "Feminism was established to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream."
Hmm?

I was at the Peninsula Hotel on September 5, 2004 when Ms. Kagan and Mr. Limbaugh walked in to have breakfast with a couple that appeared to be her parents. Must be serious.
Crazy. Thanks for the info, Doug.
Wow, that news makes me ashamed to be a Stanford alumnus.
Limbaugh's alma Mater Southeastern Missouri University (dropped out in 1971)
Has he told her yet about the anal cyst that kept him out of 'Nam?
Or is she just dating him to bogart his mindboggling stash of painkillers?
