Return of The Knightrider: Don't Hassel the Hoff

That smug Germanic grin highlighting the Teutonic jawline and the unflappable 80s hair that even the Luftwaffe couldn't ruffle is back. So much the better for us mere mortals. According to Hello!Magazine, budding gangsta rapper David Hasselhoff still has star pull on "the continent." He's big in Der Sudetenland and parts beneath:

"David Hasselhoff has been reunited with one of his coolest co-stars at a nightclub in London. The 52-year-old appeared with the talking car Kitt, from the memorable series Knight Rider, when he joined a huge crowd of revellers at the Hammersmith Palais.

"The Baywatch hunk went along to show off his singing talents at the 'School Disco' nightclub. The long-running theme night is a celebration of the music and style of the 80s. And David joined in the fun by donning a cropped, 80s-style leather jacket along with a school tie and vest."

The Corsair softly chuckles.

"Some 2,500 party-goers, all dressed in their old school uniforms, were there to cheer him on. And the huge crowd came as no surprise, because School Disco has grown into one of Britain's most popular club nights. Those who hark back to the days when Bros and Spandau Ballet dominated the charts can barely resist the opportunity to relive their youth.

(Averted Gaze)

"Needless to say, the throng couldn't contain its excitement at seeing Michael Knight himself take to the stage. The rapturous reception will surely have given David, who is currently appearing in the West End production of Chicago, a turbo boost to remember."

Recently the Sun wrote of Hasselhoff:

"GANGSTA pioneer ICE-T aims to turn DAVID HASSELHOFF into a rap star by producing the ex-Baywatch actors first hip hop album.

"Ice who paved the way for 50 CENT and EMINEM, told me: 'The man is a legend. We are going to show a whole new side of him.'

"The unlikely lads are near neighbours in Los Angeles and have struck up a close friendship. "Ice is convinced medallion-man Hasselhoff can take on the biggest names in rap. He said from a New York hotel: 'Hes gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff.

'The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour.'

Are you sure Ice T isn't just trying to pimp David out in Dusseldorf? Sounds like "technique" to me -- get the man intrested in your rap, then pratt his ass out for the highest Euros on Berlin Alexanderplatz.
