The Nation's editor Katrina Vanden Heuvel was on The Ed Schultz Show moments ago talking about the Republican attacks on the media. "That ugly chant of 'NBC! NBC!' (was made to) intimidate the media ... I look forward to watching the Rachel Maddow show." And of the chaos at MSNBC, Vanden Heuvel said, "I think MSNBC needs to find out how its going to run its program and not be intimidated ... Ohlberman didn't want to go to St. Paul because he was worried about his security."
"The internal squabbling which may have emerged from this (Post-Russert) vacuum ... You now feed into this media war which the Republicans are determined to have."
