Jennifer Lopez, who gave birth to twins just seven months ago, competed in -- and completed -- a triathalon! From The Boston Herald:
"Jennifer Lopez can add superjock to her overflowing resume. The actress/singer/fashion designer/mother completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in a swift 2 hours, Usmagazine.com reports. The 39-year-old actress pumped her arms in the air and smiled broadly as she hurried across the finish line.
"'Thank you guys so much . . . this is an amazing day,' she told the crowd. 'I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water,' Lopez said. Hubby Marc Anthony was on the sidelines to support Lopez and even stopped to kiss her between the biking and running portions of the race. Matthew McConaughey also competed in the triathlon, finishing the race in 1 hours.
"Lopez’s participation raised $127,000 for the Children’s Hospital of L.A. and the entire event raised $950,000. Lopez was first inspired to run the triathlon while eight months pregnant with twins Max and Emme, who were born in February."
