Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the UK will appear on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Thursday, September 18. "This appearance," says the press release, "will be the former Prime Minister's first appearance on 'The Daily Show' and the sixth appearance on the show by a former or current head of state."
Clearly The Daily Show's stock is rising. Formerly a "show about fake news," The Daily Show is becoming something of a news leader (ask Michiko Kakutani).
