Brooke Shields, who was 14 when she originally shot her iconic -- kiddie pornish? -- Calvin Klein ads. She attended the High Line party celebrating Calvin klein's 40th anniversary in West Chelsea with the likes of Padma Lakshmi and Martha Stewart. The NYPost is reporting that the party cost "well over $1 million." From The Telegraph:

"...the actresses Halle Berry, Claire Danes and Naomi Watts headed an A-list crowd at a party to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Calvin Klein label.

"The original Calvin Klein jeans model, Brooke Shields – naturally wearing Ck jeans, with a white shirt and a blazer – was among the celebrities who dined under the stars in a wild garden set amidst discarded railway lines and 5,200 white roses, with a view of the Hudson River on one side and the Empire State Building on the other.

"... The event was held in a three-storey white tower, designed by the British architect, John Pawson, and built alongside the High Line, the former 1.5 mile elevated railway line which extends for 22 blocks along the West Side of Manhattan, which is being developed into a public park.

And from the International Herald Tribune:

"Halle Berry, in a body-hugging outfit, and her special man, model Gabriel Aubrey, helped make Calvin Klein's 40th anniversary bash a New York moment.

"The couple, who welcomed daughter Nahla in March, mingled with Djimon Hounsou and fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons at Sunday's event held atop the High Line, a former elevated rail line that's been converted into a park on the city's west side.

"It was the third night of New York Fashion Week, and there was no party more exclusive with A-listers and striking views of the Empire State Building to the east and the World Trade Center memorial lights illuminating the southern coast of Manhattan island."
