Media-Whore D'Oevres (Fashion Week Edition)

"Highbar squeezed in another rooftop party by hosting Harper’s Bazaar’s September cover party. Editor in chief, Glenda Bailey organized and invited friends Tommy Hilfiger, Rachel Roy, Rachel Zoe, and model Coco Rocha. Honoree, Tyra Banks, arrived last in a long black dress for an appropriately fashionable appearance. I arrived incredibly early at 6pm so I could do a quick drink and run to the next. Upon entering, Rachel Roy was posing for the paparazzi and then joined me in the elevator to the rooftop. A total sweetheart, she complimented me on the feather accessory in my hair. I am terrible with celebrities, so I didn’t realize who she was, but Rachel Roy is a designer who was first famous for marrying Damon Dash, the hip hop mogul and then being the head designer at Rocawear." "NATASHA Bedingfield, L.A. Reid and Will.i.am dancing along to the Pussycat Dolls' performance at the Kohl's pre-party for Fashion Rocks at Mansion in New York." (PageSix)

"At the very end of Threeasfour's very beautiful runway presentation at the Altman Building, the music stopped and there was an unusual rustling sound that started building ... The appropriately dazzled front row included Sarah Lerfel from Colette, Vincent Gallo, Sean Lennon, Arden Wohl, Glenn O'Brien and surely one of the prettiest faces in PR, his wife Gina Nanni!" "NYFW - Diesel - these hats w straw sticking every which way? I do not get. Oh, Diesel." (Julia Allison)

" It was a family affair Friday night at Pastis as Carlos Jereissati and 300 of his nearest and dearest celebrated Fashion Week and Brazilian luxury retail group Iguatemi. Designers, models, editors and bevies of gorgeous Brazilians bonded over dinner; Hamish Bowles and Zani Gugelmann mingled with Adriana Lima, Isabelli Fontana, Carlos Miele and Francisco Costa." "Have you heard? It’s New York Fashion Week! Mo from Smashing Darling offered me a plus one to emerging designer Nary Manivong’s show. So I headed up to Flatiron yesterday afternoon despite my summer cold to see the fashion show. Nary’s designs are so beautiful. His lovely dresses and coordinate pieces are clean and modern yet with Grecian accents. They also look comfortable and could go from day to night. However, there wasn’t a runway. Plus, it was so hot in the room that we didn’t stay long." (NichelleStephens)

"Peaches Geldof reveals her fruity side in a new advert for Agent Provocateur where the scantily-clad star seductively dangles a cherry over a female model’s mouth. The 19-year-old – who married musician Max Drummey last month – dons a transparent negligee and sexy lace hold-ups in the 'Season of the Witch' campaign ... The sexy pictures will no doubt enrage father Bob who is already reeling from his daughter's shock marriage ... Peaches - whose numerous tattoos are clearly visible in the stunning pictures - wed Chester French frontman Max in Las Vegas on August 5th after a whirlwind month-long courtship." (Thisislondon)

"This couple isn't such a crazy duo but MM loves them both and thinks they look cute together: Teri Agins, highly sophisticated writer for the Wall Street Journal and Veronica Webb, highly sophisticated model turned writer turned TV host ..."
