Editor in chief, Glenda Bailey organized and invited friends Tommy Hilfiger, Rachel Roy, Rachel Zoe, and model Coco Rocha. Honoree, Tyra Banks, arrived last in a long black dress for an appropriately fashionable appearance. I arrived incredibly early at 6pm so I could do a quick drink and run to the next. Upon entering, Rachel Roy was posing for the paparazzi and then joined me in the elevator to the rooftop. A total sweetheart, she complimented me on the feather accessory in my hair. I am terrible with celebrities, so I didn’t realize who she was, but Rachel Roy is a designer who was first famous for marrying Damon Dash, the hip hop mogul and then being the head designer at Rocawear."
