Fashion Week Recap, Part The First

"Erin Wasson's party for RVCA on a Lower East Side rooftop last night was a garden party on a roof to end all garden parties on roofs. Hmmmm... well it was. The DJs saw to it that the music was as dance-able as could be and Belvedere Vodka kept pouring drinks far after the point where they probably should have stopped. It was FUUUUUN." (Papermag)

"(We HEAR) ... THAT Ellen Pompeo, Russell Simmons and Alexandra and Theodora Richards will be sitting front row at the Adidas Y-3 show tomorrow in Chelsea" (PageSix)

"On Saturday, designer Charlotte Ronson makes her tent debut, with sis Samantha handling DJ chores. Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie are already RSVP'd." (Newsday)

"Charlotte Ronson - walked in with Emma Roberts, absolutely angelic looking. I want to be her. Also, Lindsay's boobs are HUGE ... Charlotte Ronson - plastic's off the runway, show's about to start. People are catcalling." (JuliAllison)

"Mary McFadden .. epitomizes fashion and society in New York of the past half century. Her muses run down through the ages and civilizations. A child of society with a capital 'S,' she created a self-image and a classic fashion statement that reflects her curiosity about culture and history and her sense of independence and womanhood. Her choices which followed could be interpreted as 'to hell with it all,' having been married since some say 12 times (sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, and maybe so but ...), having been a party-girl par excellence, a world-traveler steeped in the history of civilization from which she has plumbed a design for living philosophy that bridges no compromises. Indefatigable – rising before dawn to play tennis two or three times a week, to practice hotbox yoga the other two or three times a week – always working, always creating .." (NYSocialDiary)

"At BCBG. Not really sure why but I needed a place to sit to do my Perry Ellis backstage write up." (JulieFredrickso)
