Oprah has so much buzz-juice that even someone going by the sobriquet "The White Oprah" can get a media outlet -- or, whatever E! Entertainment television actually is -- to Do-Their-Thing. Ironically, this White Oprah, "Whoprah," or, as she is also known, Dina Lohan, was "fingered" for her show at around the same time that her daughter, LiLo, is decidedly at an existential low point. Ferocious was Dina's campaign to get that show. The self-proclaimed "Mom-ager" wasn't apparently, looking after her daughter's interests. From those intrepid page sixxies:
"Dina .. has been trying for more than a year to get an on-air TV job. She most recently appeared on "Entertainment Tonight" to give the show 'exclusives' with troubled Lindsay - once when she was in the Wonderland rehab center and the other time at the 'Georgia Rule' premiere.
"Dina failed to return our calls and e-mails, and so did reps for E! and Lindsay."
And adding ever more irony to the situation is the fact that "Knocked Up," a Judd Apatow comedy about an E! Entertainment Television reporter actually caring about the fat of her unborn baby is getting some amazing reviews.
Of course, the very concept of an E! Entertainment television "personality (Averted Gaze)" actually being portrayed as NOT being a sleazy Los Angeles bottom feeder can only be properly construed under the category of comedy.
Charmed, I'm sure Dina Lohan (Exaggerated cough suggesting feigned detachment), she of the hiked up skirt under the napkin shenanigans.
