Granted, Jon Stewart still has his six-figure big-ass speaking fees and "The Daily Show" scrilla to fall back on, but he still turned down a boatload of millions to replace Howard Stern. Why?According to Lee Margulies of the Los Angeles Times (link via iwantmedia):

"During a visit to 'The Howard Stern Show' Wednesday morning, comedian Jon Stewart confirmed that Stern's bosses at Infinity Broadcasting had approached him about taking over for the shock jock when he leaves his syndicated morning show for satellite radio. The host of 'The Daily Show' said he wasn't interested because it didn't make sense having his first radio job be 'replacing the preeminent radio personality of your generation.'"
