Apparently, somehow during a scuffle with security ruffians at the offices of JLo's fur-trimmed clothing line Sweetface, Sir Paul McCartney's wife Heather Mills' prosthetic leg became unhinged. Jill Atkins reports for the National Ledger:

"(Mills) bent down and clutched her knee in pain, before asking to use a bathroom so she could reattach the leg. Guards refused and she was forced to cling onto a photographer as she carried out the humiliating task on a stairwell."

Granted, Mills has been stalking JLo for the past few days, but this is too much ...

"Photographer Richard Corkery tells 25hoursonline.com, 'I saw her touch her knee and I could see she was in pain. She limped to the ladies room but it was locked. I found another door open - it lead(s) on to the stairwell. At least she could have a private moment - which is what she needed.'

"According to 25hoursonline.com, Lopez's guards continued to verbally attack the group - screaming 'Call the cops! Call the cops!!' - until Mills McCartney recovered her composure and was able to leave the building.

"Heather Mills McCartney lost her leg after being hit by a car in 1993."

Can we all start burning our JLo CDs in effigy now?

I take J.Lo's side in this . If any non-celeb had been following her around and then showed up at her offices acting like a nut it would have been expected that security throw them out. Those guys were doing their jobs.
In fact, if someone showed up at your office angrily demanding that you sit and watch a video of animals dying (or a video of anything, really), wouldn't you have them thrown out, too?
These PETA people act like common thugs, hounding and attacking anyone who doesn't share their beliefs and I cannot understand why anyone would be sympathetic at all to an organization that using these bullying tactics.

you have a point. there was definite stalking, and JLo wasn't directly involved.
