Add Kelly Rutherford to the list of discarded names -- Russell and Kimora Simmons -- whose materialism offends with its grotesqueness. Getting mesmerized by materialism -- Maya -- without an offsetting spirituality (like the one Russell has shrewdly manufactured) comes off to observers as impalanced. We would council Rutherford to shield her misshapen personality through a charity or something. From the New York Post:
"KELLY Rutherford's baby is a real fashion victim. The hot mom in 'Gossip Girl' was shopping recently in the Hamptons and was overheard saying that she and her husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch, named their nearly 2-year-old boy, Hermés Gustaf Daniel Giersch because she loves the Hermes designer label. 'She also said her husband once worked as a mailman and the messenger god is Hermes,' our witness said."
Rutherford was married to -- surprise! -- another businessman, one Carlos Tarajano before Giersch. Soon after Carlos suffered from a near-fatal cardiac illness, Rutherford left Tarajano. You've got to limit your losses, we suppose (Exaggerated cough suggesting feigned detachment). "In Sickness and in Health? .. (Averted Gaze)"
