Kansas Presbyterian guilt or the softness of old age? Who would have thought that former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, known for a lacerating wit, would become -- post-power -- such a softie. On Sunday's The Chris Matthew Show, The Corsair's favorite drinking buddy Christopher Hitchens revealed that he recently met up with the '96 Republican Presidential candidate. Hitchens said that Bob Dole told him he visited Judith Miller in the "pokey" twice because he felt so bad about being a co-sponsor of the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982.
