Seen ... Seen

One of the best things about The Grammy's is the afterparties and the eclectic mix of people united by the fact that they -- and everyone in the world -- loves music. And we do mean eclectic. From a Corsair tipster:

"Last night, at one of the Grammy afterparties (this one given by World Peace One), Al Jarreau, Michael Bolton & Patrick Swayze were seen noshing on grub from Crustacean, Gardenburger and Border Grill (whose chefs are these two, http://www.marysueandsusan.com/, formerly from Food Network) with none other than Slash, Christina Applegate and George Clinton at Jim Henson's Studios."

Patrick Swayze?! His contributions to the world of music have been minimal; we can only think of two offhand. One: a freshly-mulleted Patrick Swayze sang, angelically, the syrupy late 80s power-ballad "She's Like the Wind (Exaggerated cough suggesting feigned detachment)," and, of course, Two: the urban line "I'm Swayze," of which Patrick was a significant, if unwitting, disseminator.

Does this merit a Grammy afterparty invite? We think not.
