CBS Afraid of Letterman?

The Smoking Gun uncovers a very strange bit of gossip unrelated to the criminal court system. Apparently CBS thinks Jay Leno is a bigger draw that their own David Letterman, actually promoting the People's Choice Awards with NBC's ratings winner. That is ... until the snarky Midwesterner turned his guns on his network.
