Kids! Larry Clark Was Right

Larry Clark may have been right about Kids. Those little rugrats are spreading the flu like crazy. I mean, sure, they are cute and defenseless and need our care and nurturing, but they are spreading this year's flu virus around like a drunk sailor spending his paycheck on shore leave.

Okay, since we are being frank here, aren't kids sometimes just a little a bit creepy? C'mon! Take off your PC blinders people! I'm thinking of John Singer Sargent's rendering of kids, you know what I mean? Most of the time they are at the periphery of social life, but they just kind of stare at you with these knowing eyes.

And their heads are all out of proportion and they have runny noses and they rarely wash their hands unless you tell them to and they just are a little too fascinated with the natural world that surrounds them.

And we are not even going to go into naps ("Wake up! If you can't take the daily grind ...")and juice containers. It's all about the juice with those little monsters. What's up with that?
