It must be hard being John Edwards -- no, not the psychic, the junior Senator from North Carolina and erstwhile Presidential candidate. Although the former trial lawyer is not engaged in the paranormal, it almost seems as if some cosmic force is working against his run. Remember when Wesley Clark's Presidential announcement overshadowed his? What are the odds on that?

Then, as if that wasn't a strange enough occurrence, Edwards was all set Sunday to get the biggest media push on his lagging run by doing an interview segment on 60 Minutes this past Sunday. What happened? You guessed it: Sadaam Hussein was captured, forcing CBS to reschedule the story for a later date.
