The Final Blow

Two hundred fifty fashion luminaries showed up to send off Isabella Blow. We are actually kind of sad as she was in the midst of writing -- with a ghostwriter -- the story of her interesting life. From Fashionweekdaily:

"Alexander McQueen, Sophie Dahl, Rupert Everett, Lucy Ferry, Erin O’Connor, and Philip Treacy were among the 350 fashionably inclined mourners at Gloucester Cathedral Tuesday, each paying tribute to Isabella Blow, who died last week at the age of 48, as she was laid to rest amidst a paparazzi frenzy. Naturally, in homage to the ever-stylish Blow, a number donned zany, often over-the-top creations—many designed by Treacy—for the occasion.

"Inside the church, a bust of Blow—who, according to a preliminary examiner’s report, died after ingesting weed killer—was on view for all, topped off by one of her favorite hats."

RIP, Isabella Blow. (Fashionweekdaily)
