One of the enduring rock family sagas is that of the Lennons. For years Julian and Yoko have been enriching lawyers, suing at will over what is Julian's actual stake of his biological father's fortune. If Sean Lennon -- the biological son of Yoko -- is the happy one, Julian is the black sheep of the Lennons (From USAToday, May 30, 1999: "Though he 'dearly loves' his .. half brother, Sean, Julian remains bitter toward stepmother Yoko Ono. 'In Yoko's mind, the only important Lennon family is Yoko and Sean. ... But he and I are blood, and the only thing Yoko will never have is the Lennon blood and talent. She has everything else.'" He is the son of that famous Beatle, is the son of Cynthia and John Lennon, who split when Julian was 5. According to Julian he only saw his dad a dozen times or so before his murder in Manhattan. "Yoko Ono’s lawyer, Peter Shukat, told us something we didn’t know. He said in his letter that Julian Lennon had been receiving money from his father’s estate since 1995. I had only been told, repeatedly, that Julian was constantly fighting with Ono for money.
"But the 1995 date is important. John Lennon was killed on December 8, 1980. That means for fifteen years Julian did not receive anything from his father’s estate — or not until he was 32 years old. Shukat did not elaborate on why it took so long for John Lennon’s eldest son to inherit money from the arguably the most famous of all rock’s singer songwriters."
Yoko Ono, who has scaled back her avante garde career, is a scion of one of the most privileged families in Japan. Her billionaire maternal grandfather, Zenjiro Yasuda, founded the Yasuda Bank.

NEVER LIKED YOKO FOR THAT REASON SHE CUT JULIAN FROM HER FATHERS LIFE. . . AND HIS BIRTHRIGHT ENTITLEMENT TO INHERIT SOME OF HIS FATHER'S ESTATE. SHE IS ARROGANT, MEAN AND SELFISH. I DON'T KNOW WHY THE PRESS REGARDS HER IN A POSITIVE WAY. I CAN'T STAND HER FOR THE TURMOIL AND ISOLATION SHE PUT JULIAN THROUGH. AND SHE HAS NO TALENT TO BE SURE.

Nobody liked Yoko, except John. What's really sad is how she controls Sean's life. He needs to get independent of her, now that he's 39 yrs old, lol!
total b*tch that made it so hard for Julian at every turn and then to 'sell' to him the letters addressed to him from his own father? i believe 100% what Julian says in a recent interview about yoko on youtube. i keep thinking if only John was here and yoko was gone. now there would b peace. she was a money sucking vampire from the first time she told john upon meeting him that she had never heard of the beatles! yea right!

Through Yoko's stoned mind while sitting behind or next to John, she must be thinking something else, or know of how much such saying will give her no talent, home wrecking, money hungry self. Mark David Chapman had a bad aim.
Don't want to piss off the one who signs the checks. Sean is talentless golddigger just like his mother. The only reason she jumped into that limo back when Cynthia and John were still married was beacuase she was hoping she could bullshit herself into John helping her in her career, if that's what you call it! Now she's produced another useless talent that is still sucking his mum's tit! What will he do with all that $ when she dies? Doubt he's a CPA! It's a sad legend John leaves for his son's leaving Yoko to handle his money and first sons life in his life. Julian has a good talent w/o all of her crap but he also has to live without knowing his Dad who was a great talent in so many ways. Yoko is no Mum, look at her first daughter. She is money hungry and claims she has talent. Funny I've never seen her make a nickel off of her wailing and shrills.I believe John was a very insecure man who needed someone to direct his personal life for him and that happened to be YOKO! All very sad. By the way, Julian has always looked more like his Dad and has his dad's talent. That is saying a lot. Julian has his own style but you have to have talent, something Sean got from his Mother not from JOHN. Love you Julian your a good human being :) Take care of you :)
I just finished Cynthia Lennon's book, "John", and I have to say, she was wonderfully restrained when it came to her writing about Yoko. Yoko ruined the group, John and did poor Julian no favors at all. What a controlling, horrible woman.
