"If you have ever wondered, who is Mimi and why is she screaming, I still don't have the answer for you. It might have something to do with the steady flow of vintage gems Laura Wills has found and brought to her ever changing style-conscious clients who flock to her frocks at Screaming Mimi's for 30 YEARS! Last night's dinner and party was held at Broadway East and was attended by her fabulous and festive friends like Pat Field, Ruben and Isabel Toledo, Richie Rich, Perry Moore and Hunter Hill, Peter Davis, Lynn Yaeger, Michael Musto, Tatum O'Neal, and quite possibly the best looking designer in New York Tracy Feith." "Howard (Stern) said that Jay (Leno) is such a douche bag. He said he could be getting like $50-60 million but he sticks with the 40 that he's getting. Howard said that skeeves him out. He said that makes him think that the guy is even stranger than he originally thought. Howard said Jay still does stand-up comedy and claims he lives off of that money and not the money he's making on The Tonight Show. Howard read that Jay Leno is moving to 10 o'clock on NBC and he'll do his skits and stuff. He said it would be The Tonight Show but at 10 o'clock instead of 11:30. Howard said that Merv Griffin did a syndicated show many years ago that aired at 10pm. Howard said it did quite well from what he remembers. He said that people who go to bed early stayed up to watch that. Howard said that might just work. Howard said his thoughts are that NBC won't let Leno leave that time slot and they will just pay off Conan and not let him move to that spot. Artie said that Conan is ready to move out to L.A. and his staff have already been setting up to move out there. That would be crazy for NBC to back out of that." (Marksfriggin)
"Hearst Corporation, ABC News, Marc Jacobs and oil and gas billionaire David Koch have all canceled their holiday parties. (Barry Diller, the CEO of the media conglomerate IAC, however, has not.)" (Observer)
