"Socialite Tinsley Mortimer, in the midst of the purported catfight between herself and her personal Eve, Olivia Palermo, lamented to a reporter recently that the blogs and newspapers believe Manhattan society is like the schoolyard: all hair-pulling and vicious insideriness. It's not like that, she said." (SocialiteSlapdown)

"Budding Carrie Bradshaws better think about moving to Queens, says 'Sex and the City' icon Sarah Jessica Parker. Manhattan is bracing for another influx of Blahnik-wearing career girls after the film is released May 30. But New York is 'a really hard city, and it's very expensive and it's not what it used to be,' Parker told me at the Cinema Society and Linda Wells' screening of her new film, 'Smart People.' 'That's why the outer boroughs are so desirable,' she said. 'The outer boroughs are pretty sexy. It's just a matter of time before they have their own shows.'" (Gatecrasher)

"Howard (Stern) asked Jeff (Conway) about trying to get Olivia Newton John (on the set of Grease). Jeff said that she was bending over the table one day and he kind of rubbed on her butt and said that little girls like her could get into trouble. She turned around and told him that maybe she wants to get into trouble. He then went to John Travolta's dressing room and told him he might try and bag her. John begged him not to because he really liked her. Jeff took a pass on her because of that." (Marksfriggin)

"Orlando Bloom and Jennifer Aniston have quietly enjoyed a ongoing flirtation for months, and their latest encounter was no exception. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was spotted cosying up to Hollywood's most famous bachelorette at a star-studded party hosted by celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves in Los Angeles on Friday. While he was surrounded by a bevy of beauties, including Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria and Jennifer's best friend Courteney Cox, it was Jennifer, 39, who really caught his attention.Insiders have said that while the 31-year-old Orlando has been casually linked to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, he has been harbouring a rather strong crush on the former Friends star in recent times."
