"Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Sunday announced a fundraising total of $32.5 million for the second quarter, setting a new record and outraising Democratic presidential frontrunner Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) by $5 million ...Obama boasted contributions from over 154,000 donors in the second quarter, bringing his total to 258,000 donors this year ... Clinton has yet to release how many donors contributed to her campaign in the second quarter. Her campaign received contributions from approximately 60,000 donors in the first quarter. Then-president Bill Clinton set the previous second quarter Democratic fundraising record in 1995, raising $9.6 million for the primaries." (TheHill)
