Question: How Sexy Was Mary Louise Parker in Weeds Last Night?

For whatever reasons The Corsair didn't really think much of Showtime's ability to do well-written adult television for smart grown-ups other than as a reflexive "reaction" to HBO's own edgy fare. We acknowledge now that that was an unfounded prejudice based on previous Showtime incarnations. Then, the amazing Erica Kennedy hipped me onto "Californication," which I now love (Thanks, Erica). Showtime On Demand was a part of The Corsair's TV viewing schedule.

So this weekend was the Showtime preview, and, with nothing to lose we checked out "Dexter (Sly)," "The Brotherhood (Fucking Absolutely Brilliant)," and, finally, "Weeds (Wonderful; Mary-Kate is fantastic)," and now am hooked. Showtime is the new FX.

Showtime's decision to heavily promote this preview was brilliant. We are subscribing.



Oh, and sexy MILF Mary Louise Parker was ridiculously hott on last night's "Weeds."
