Every once in a while you can mine a good scoop from the media fishing net of Cindy Adams. Usually she phones it in, blathering to fill the columns word count. Today Oscar-winner Elizabeth Shue, sister of soccer pro Andrew Shue (and, we cannot fail to note, breaker of Karate Kid Daniel-san's heart), tells of competing pro at the lower levels of tennis. From the NYPost:
"Elisabeth Shue: 'An athlete my whole life, I've been playing seriously a half-dozen years. I'm training to go pro and get my ranking at a small level on the circuit.'"
Alli with a bye!
