Tonight Anna Wintour Goes To Pratt

"Tonight," Elizabeth Thompson and Alexis Swerdloff remind us at Paper Magazine's Tips of the Day, "Anna Wintour crosses the East Channel to the quaint village of 'Brooklynne' where the Vogue editor-in-chief will be speaking for free at Pratt's Institute's Memorial Hall Auditorium."

I was so there.

Alas, when we RSVPd -- because we have so many questions to ask Vogue writer Hamish Bowles in the Q&A session (Like: About that moustache ..)-- The Corsair was rejected via a form email. "Due to overwhelming response, we have stopped taking reservations at this time." Blahblahblah.

Further: "Also, as a security precaution, all bags are subject to random search by Pratt security officers. Unauthorized photography and videography of the event is strictly prohibited. Anyone seen taking photos or videos will be asked to leave the venue by security." Ah, well, then it wouldn't have been interesting.
