NPR's Weekend Edition: Foreign Policy Analyst Robin Wright on Syria Protests
If the tipping point in the individual Middle Eastern countries is about 100,000 street protesters, then Syria -- which reached over 1 million yesterday in their weekly friday protests -- is at critical mass. If Syria, perhaps the most brutal of the Middle Eastern tyrannies, were to veer democratic, it would put the revolution right on the doorstep of Iran. May we live in interesting times.
