Rare is the time when one so brimming with chic as Carolina Herrera missteps, but misstep she did in banning the Old Grey Lady's respected fashion journo Cathy Horyn. Says Liz Smith:
"This week all the fashionistas can talk about is the beautiful Carolina Herrera's banning Times critic Cathy Horyn from her catwalk. Six months ago Cathy described Carolina's collection as 'remarkably irrelevant.' The svelte and chic Ms. Herrera responded, 'Insult me, and worse, insult the people who work with me, and you are out!'"
