Thursday night at Good Units was Paper magazine's annual Beautiful People party. Sure enough, the crowd was indeed beautiful, making up for the rainy evening. Duran Duran performed beloved hits like "Notorious," andf "Hungry Like the Wolf." Their performance was "seasoned" by quite a bit of high quality marijuana. It was that kind of a night.
Spotted in the crowd, the usual downtowners with a dash of celebrity, beauty and accomplishment: Aziz Ansari, Peter Davis, the lovely Whitney Spaner, Yasha Wallin, Stalley, Mr. Mickey, Cobra Starship, the fragile fashion designer Erin Fetherson, Will Cotton, Moby, Samantha Mathis, MNDR, Sally Singer, Cushine et Ochs and the greatest party photographer ever, Caroline Torem Craig.
And to those of us who saw Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta ostentatiously escorting Erin Featherstone across the dance floor it wasn't really "news" that the two are dating. But it got the word out.
