Ingmar Bergman's "Cries and Whispers" my favorite movie in the world.
Don't remember Cries and Whispers but do remember Fanny and Alexander, esp. Christmas scenes. The warm golden interior light in the middle of the cold, stark Scandinavian winter--beautiful.
