Who is Reading?

We have a lot of new readers. Every 6 months or so The Corsair likes to ask you guys: Who is out there reading this blog? It helps me to know who The Corsair is speaking to. Last time we asked -- in the Fall -- some conservatives chimed in, which sort of kept me more even handed at the close of the 2004 campaign than we may have been.

So, if you are a lurker, or have never posted a comment, please do so now and tell me where you are from, what time of day you read the blog and maybe what you do. Or, if you want privacy, email me that info at papermag@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

Ron,
I started reading your blog last year I saw it mentioned on social lite life. I am an editor in North Carolina. Like your previous comment, I have some freetime during my job (no complaints about that actually) so I am always looking for ways to fill the time and yet look like I MIGHT be working. Thanks, I do like your column - especially trying to figure outw where the quotes above your picture are from.

I am a social worker from Mississippi. I enjoy reading your site. The observations are smart and never fail to bring a smile. It is a reminder that intelligent, thoughtful people exist beyond my small(minded) part of the world.

I work in the film industry here in Los Angeles, and I love your blog. In fact, I'm addicted to it - I'm liberal, college educated, and I drive and SUV but I'm really ashamed of it. Just so you know.

I've got my own blog here:

Thnaks all, this is really helping me with targeting advertising and, more important, gaging who exactly I'm talking to.

Love you, love your site and totally enjoy the great quotes. I'm from subruban St. Louis, MO, where I drive on a stretch of road sponsored by the John Birch Society-need I say more? So thanks for the daily dose of intelligence-it's an oasis of sanity in the compassionate conservative wasteland around here. I'm a woman of color, a librarian, married with children, and a liberal. You make me laugh, you make me think-thank you.

Hi, Ron,

I found your blog early last year, and quickly became addicted to it. You, Miu and Perez never fail to brighten my day, or give me the daily "fix" I need.

Thank you for your intelligence, insight and wit. I realize you seldom encounter all three...

Working from Cambridge, MA, and living in Boston, MA, I generally read in the morning, and in the late afternoon, just in case there are any new additions.

You keep me sane in an otherwise mind-numbing admin position.

Thanks.
Natasha

Conservative, 30something, female attorney; involved in various charitable endeavours and related activities; hate what passes for society today esp. in NYC; probably born three centuries too late. I love your ability to distill the fun stuff between the lines into something so fun and eminently readable.
